Major Healthcare Systems Profiled in National Directory of Integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems Database on CD-ROM

MANASQUAN, NJ USA – More than 11,650 affiliated provider organizations are identified in the new edition of The National Directory of Integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems Database on CD-ROM.

The database includes full profile information on more than 830 integrated delivery systems through the country. The file has just undergone a complete round of re-verification and updating, said Robert K. Jenkins, CEO of the Managed Care Information Center (MCIC.)

The changes in the actual numbers of IHDNs included in the updated database is the result of mergers and acquisitions, closures of facilities, and departures from certain regions or markets, Jenkins said. There have been many hundreds of changes made among key contact names, corporate entities' names, even area codes and building addresses.

Nineteen fields of key executive contact names are provided in the database including president\CEO, chief financial officer, chief information officer, capital equipment purchasing officer, medical supplies purchasing officer, pharmaceutical purchasing officer, network development\contracting officer, and compliance officer, said Jenkins.

The in-depth database profiles contain 227 fields of information and includes more than 6,000 key executive contact names.

“One of the most useful features is that the database contains almost 12,000 organizations affiliated with the health systems,” Jenkins explained. These affiliates include other hospitals, hospices, home care agencies, nursing homes, and ambulatory care facilities. “The list of affiliates provides critical information prior to making a sales call. Great, too, for sizing a market area,” he added.

Users are able to search by system affiliations, statistics, and service state.

“The National Directory of Integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems Database on CD-ROM profiles includes such management information data for decision-making as:

  • key executive personnel;
  • system statistics;
  • parent company;
  • tax status;
  • number of primary physicians and physician specialists;
  • number of non-physician employees;
  • admissions;
  • number of beds;
  • number of hospitals facilities currently in network;
  • number of off-site facilities currently in network;
  • number of facilities planned to be added to network;
  • service area;
  • system affiliations (hospitals, home health care, physician primary care/group practices, surgery centers, etc.)
